Job Description

• Reports to: HOD & Academic Coordinator
• Job Profile: A committed educator facilitating global learning, supporting pastoral care, sports and supervisory responsibilities in a day-cum-residential school.
• Responsibilities: For the position of PRT SST, it is essential to gather learning materials, resources, and prepare lesson plans to ensure effective teaching. As a PRT SST educator, you will be responsible for setting and achieving curriculum objectives, analyzing students' strengths and weaknesses, and reviewing their progress regularly.
• Attending parents-teachers meetings and discussing the student's growth is a crucial responsibility that comes with this role.
• Creating a classroom environment that fosters positive learning is also a key responsibility. You will need to ensure that students have access to appropriate learning aids and textbooks and accompany them on field trips.
• Participating in staff meetings, attending various training programs, and helping students prepare for debates or any other extra-curricular activities are other responsibilities that come with this position. Keeping accurate records of students' grades, assigning them projects and other internal assessment activities, and staying up-to-date with current events and happenings are also important tasks for this role. 

Skills & Education

• Bachelor's Master’s degree in History, Geography or a related field. 
• B.Ed
• TET/UPTET qualified candidate preferred.
• Proven work experience as a PRT SST
