On August 23, 2024, Sharda World School celebrated Janmashtami with great fervor and devotion. The event commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, including the school advisor, Dr. Garima Yadav, the principal, Dr. Shiv Kumar Tiwari, the Cambridge principal, Ms. Aarti Khurana, and the vice principal, Ms. Neena Rathore.
The program began with a mesmerizing performance by a student dressed as Lord Krishna, who captivated the audience with her rendition of the devotional song "Achutam Keshavam" on the Casio keyboard. This soulful beginning was followed by a vibrant group dance, showcasing the cultural heritage associated with the festival.
Adding to the festive spirit, a group of students performed a melodious song, "Chhoti Chhoti Gaiya Chhote Chhote Gwal," which resonated with the audience, bringing alive the playful and divine aspects of Lord Krishna's childhood.
The celebrations concluded with an Aarti, in which all the dignitaries, teachers, and students participated, creating an atmosphere of devotion and unity. The event ended on a sweet note with the distribution of prasad to everyone present, leaving the attendees with a sense of spiritual fulfillment and joy.
